Does tax form 8822 change my address for federal and state?
I moved. I filled out form 8822 just now as told to do over the form by the irs hotline agent. I think that just changes my address for my federal return. How do I change my address for my state return? I live in New York City.

Just federal but why bother. If you file a tax return with a new address written on it, IRS will update from that.

I am set to close on my new house this Thursday and realize that I have not completed a change of address yet. My new home is new construction and I have the final walk through on Tuesday. This man's dog bit me when I passed by his house, then I went to the hospital to make sure I didn't get rabies. Then I went to his house several times and I couldn't find him. How do I change an e-mail address with little fuss?
My current main e-mail address is tied to my ISP so if i was to change internet service provider then I would lose the e-mail address. There are lots of shopping accounts set up to send e-mails to that address and I don't want to have to go through each site changing the address. Is there any way I can change the e-mail address and have all my new mail that would be sent to the old address sent to the new one instead?How do I change an e-mail address with little fuss?
