I have a billion bipac modem, and have a virtual server set up. how can i change the ip address automatical?

I have a Virtual server set up to allow utorrent through. Each time the modem resets (power fluctuations, line drop outs etc) the external ip address changes, and i have to go in and change it on the virtual server. I have no idea about these things, and it took ages to sort out the server bit. Is there any way i can get it to change automatically?I have a billion bipac modem, and have a virtual server set up. how can i change the ip address automatical?
If you have a Dyanmic IP (meaning it does change) you can use a Dynamic DNS service to automatically ';Track'; your server.

http://dyndns.com has a free service http://www.dyndns.com/services/dns/dyndn

or http://no-ip.com (a paid one)

Dynamic services put a small program on your machine (client) which updates the dns service when the IP changes thus you always have a current link to your machine. Some routers even support the service and no client on the machine is needed.

The real advantage to you is you just ';call'; the server by name, not by IP.
